Moby

BIOGRAFIA

Moby, właśc. Richard Melville Hall, to American musician, DJ, songwriter, and photographer, born on September 11, 1965 in Harlem, New York. He is best known for his experimental approach to electronic music and was a pioneer of the American rave scene in the early 1990s. His debut solo album, simply titled "Moby", was released in 1992. However, it was with the album "Play", released in 1999, that Moby gained international fame. The album's tracks, featuring reinterpretations of traditional African-American chants, were widely used in advertisements, films and television series, making "Play" one of the best-selling albums of all time. Moby is also known for his activism in favor of animal rights and the environment, and is a strong advocate of veganism. He has written several books on these topics and is the owner of a vegan restaurant in Los Angeles called "Little Pine". In 2008, Moby released an album of remixes of his greatest hits, titled "Go - The Very Best of Moby". Since then, he has continued to release albums regularly, each exploring new genres and musical styles. Moby is a versatile and influential artist who has left his mark on the music scene for three decades. His work in the music industry, as well as his activism for animal rights and the environment, make him a respected and appreciated artist worldwide.
