AEL, de son vrai nom Alexandre-Édouard Lepage, est un artiste franco-canadien de musique né en 1977 à Montréal. Il a débuté sa carrière en tant que DJ et producteur de musique électronique dans les clubs de Montréal au début des années 2000. En 2003, il a sorti son premier album, "L'Effet papillon", sous le pseudonyme de Ael, très bien reçu par la critique. En 2006, son deuxième album, "Le Dernier Voyageur", sorti sous son vrai nom, a été encore plus acclamé que le premier, le positionnant comme l'un des artistes franco-canadiens les plus talentueux de sa génération. En 2009, son troisième album, "Les Chants du Nord", a confirmé sa réputation de leader de la scène électronique franco-canadienne. AEL est reconnu pour sa prolifération musicale avec plusieurs albums et singles à son actif. En 2012, son quatrième album, "Étoiles filantes" a été très bien accueilli par la critique et le public. Avec une fusion unique de sonorités électroniques et acoustiques, AEL est considéré comme l'un des meilleurs artistes de musique électronique de sa génération, avec des compositions à la fois mélodieuses et énergiques et des performances captivantes.
