Ellroy Clerk is a Russian singer, songwriter and record producer.
Born and raised in Moscow, Clerk began his musical career as a member of the Russian boy band Smiley. The group achieved success with their debut album, Smile, which was certified gold in Russia. Clerk left the group in 2010 to pursue a solo career.
Clerk's debut solo album, Tim, was released in 2012 and peaked at number two on the Russian Albums Chart. The album's lead single, "Silent", became a top five hit in Russia.
In 2013, Clerk collaborated with Russian rapper Leo Luganskiy on the single "Nick Tim". The song was a commercial success, reaching the top ten in Russia.
In 2014, Clerk released his second solo album, Ellroy. The album peaked at number four on the Russian Albums Chart and spawned the singles "In the Club" and "Kiss You".
Clerk has won several awards, including the Best New Artist at the 2013 Russian Music Awards and the Best Male Artist at the 2014 Russian MTV Music Awards.
