Robbert van de Corput, mieux connu sous son nom de scène Hardwell, est un DJ et producteur de musique néerlandais né le 7 janvier 1988 à Breda aux Pays-Bas. Il est particulièrement reconnu pour son style électro-house, mais également pour ses remixes de chansons de différents genres. Hardwell a commencé à faire de la musique électronique à un très jeune âge. Il a sorti son premier single "Forever Young" en 2006, mais n'a commencé à gagner en popularité qu'après la sortie de ses singles "Spaceman" et "Apollo" en 2012. Ces singles ont atteint le top des charts électroniques internationaux. En 2013 et 2014, il a été nommé DJ numéro un dans le monde dans le DJ Mag Top 100, devenant ainsi le plus jeune DJ à recevoir cette distinction. En 2015, il a lancé son propre label, Revealed Recordings, sur lequel il a sorti plusieurs singles à succès. Hardwell a donné de nombreux concerts dans le monde entier, notamment au Tomorrowland, Ultra Music Festival et Coachella. Il a pris une pause indéfinie de sa carrière DJ en 2018, mais a annoncé en 2020 qu'il envisageait de revenir. Malgré sa pause, il a continué à sortir de nouvelles musiques, y compris des remixes et des collaborations avec d'autres artistes. Il est reconnu pour ses performances live dynamiques et son style de production innovant. Il est considéré comme l'un des DJ les plus influents de la scène électronique moderne.
