Rose Laurens is a French pop music artist, born on March 13, 1953 in Paris, in the Goutte d'Or district. Her career began in 1976 with the release of the single "Africa (Voodoo Master)". Her eponymous first album was released in 1978, including the singles "Africa (Voodoo Master)" and "Mamy Blue". It wasn't until 1982 that she released the album "Mamy Blue", which contains the title song.
