Finger Eleven is a Canadian alternative rock band from Burlington, Ontario. The band formed in 1989 under the name Rainbow Butt Monkeys, before changing to Finger Eleven in 1993. It consists of Scott Anderson (vocals, guitar), Rick Jackett (guitar), Sean Anderson (bass), Rob Gommerman (drums) and James Black (guitar).
Their debut album, Tip, was released in 1997 and peaked at number 7 on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart. Their second album, The Greyest of Blue Skies, released in 1999, peaked at number 49 on the Billboard 200. The third album, Finger Eleven, released in 2003, peaked at number 14 on the Billboard 200. The fourth album, Them vs. You vs. Everyone, released in 2006, peaked at number 9 on the Billboard 200. The fifth album, Life Turns Electric, released in 2010, peaked at number 22 on the Billboard 200.
The band has won two Juno Awards, for Rock Album of the Year for Finger Eleven in 2004 and for Single of the Year for "Paralyzer" in 2008.
