Utah Saints

BIOGRAPHY

Utah Saints is a British electronic music group composed of Jez Willis and Tim Garbutt. They began their career in Leeds, England, in the late 1980s. The group achieved significant commercial success in the 1990s with hits such as "Something Good", "I Want You", and "What Can You Do For Me". Utah Saints have been praised for their innovative approach to electronic music, blending different forms of dance music with samples of pop and rock songs. Their music has been noted for its creativity and originality, often described as avant-garde. In the 2000s, the group shifted away from music production to focus on DJing. However, they never stopped performing and continued to tour worldwide. In addition to their music career, Willis and Garbutt are also known for their remixing skills. They have worked with a number of other artists, including The Shamen, The Human League, and The Osmonds. In 2008, Utah Saints were nominated for an MTV Europe Music Award for Best British Group. Furthermore, their single "Something Good '08", a reworking of their 1992 hit, reached the top 10 in the UK charts. In short, Utah Saints is an influential group in the world of electronic music, recognized for their creative and innovative contributions to the genre.
