MNEK is a British singer and R&B and pop musician. He began his career in 2013 with the single "Every Little Word", which reached the top 10 of the UK Singles Chart. Following this, he signed with Virgin EMI and has collaborated with several artists such as Duke Dumont, Gorgon City, Rudimental, Little Mix, and Beyoncé. In 2016, he released his first album, Small Talk, and was nominated for a Grammy Award in the category "Best Contemporary R&B Album".
MNEK, also known as Uzoechi Osisioma Emenike, was born in Stratford, London, England. Growing up in a music-loving family, he began writing songs at the age of 11. After studying music at college, he honed his skills in composition and production at the National Institute of Dramatic Art. His talent was quickly recognized with the release of "Every Little Word".
