Nick Rockwell is een Amerikaans muzikant, geboren op 9 juli 1980 in New York. Hij groeide op in Queens en begon op 10-jarige leeftijd muziek te spelen. Na jazz te hebben gestudeerd op college, vervolgde hij zijn muzikale carrière door op te treden in diverse jazzclubs in New York. In 2004 sloot hij zich aan bij de rockband The Strokes als drummer en nam hij deel aan hun album Angles (2011). Rockwell heeft ook gespeeld met de rockbands Yeah Yeah Yeahs en TV on the Radio. Naast zijn muzikale carrière is Rockwell ook acteur en speelde hij in verschillende films, waaronder The Wrestler (2008) en It's Kind of a Funny Story (2010). Note: The Dutch language does not have a direct translation for the word "musician", so I used "muzikant" which is the closest equivalent. Also, the word "college" is translated as "college" in Dutch, but in the American education system, it usually refers to the last two years of high school or a vocational school. If Nick Rockwell studied jazz in a university or a conservatory, the correct translation would be "universiteit" or "conservatorium".
