David May is een Duitse dj en muziekproducent, geboren op 16 juli 1974 in Frankfurt am Main, Duitsland. Hij begon zijn muzikale carrière met het draaien van techno-muziek in de clubs van Frankfurt. In 1998 bracht hij zijn eerste album uit, "Superstar", dat in Duitsland succes had. Daarna bracht May verschillende andere albums uit, zoals "The World Is Yours" (2000), "In the Name of Love" (2001) en "This Is the Night" (2003). In 2004 richtte hij zijn eigen platenlabel op, "Mayday Recordings", en bracht zijn vijfde album, "Superstar 2.0" uit. David May heeft ook remixes gemaakt voor diverse artiesten, waaronder Madonna, Kylie Minogue, Britney Spears en Mariah Carey.
