Simple Minds is a Scottish rock band that formed in 1977 in Glasgow. The band scored a string of hit singles, including "Don't You (Forget About Me)" from the soundtrack of The Breakfast Club, and "Alive and Kicking" and "Belfast Child" from their 1987 album Street Fighting Years. They have released a total of 17 studio albums, and have sold more than 60 million records worldwide.
