"Tom Tom Club ist eine US-amerikanische New-Wave-Band, die 1981 vom Ehepaar Tina Weymouth und Chris Frantz gegründet wurde, die auch für ihre Mitgliedschaft in der Band Talking Heads bekannt sind. Ihre größten Erfolge sind "Genius of Love" und "Pleasure of Love". Das Duo war ursprünglich Gastsänger in den Alben von Talking Heads, bevor sie 1981 ihr erstes Album, Tom Tom Club, veröffentlichten."
