BIOGRAPHY
The Gipsy Kings are a Spanish music group originating from Arles, Camargue, France. Composed of eight brothers and cousins from the Reyes family, all descendants of Spanish gypsies expelled from Spain in 1492, the group began recording albums in 1987 and found international success with their music blending flamenco, Catalan rumba, salsa, and pop. The Gipsy Kings have sold over 20 million albums worldwide and were nominated for Grammy Awards in 2000.
