Guesch Patti grew up in the popular neighborhoods of the French capital. She began her career singing in Parisian jazz clubs in the 1970s. In 1981, she released her first album, "Patti", which was a great success. She then went on to release several albums and tour around the world. In 1986, she collaborated with guitarist Eric Clapton on her album "August".
Guesch Patti is a militant artist, particularly advocating for women's and LGBTQ+ rights. In 2001, she became the first French singer to perform at the Glastonbury Festival.
