BIOGRAPHY
Harold Faltermeyer is a German composer, producer, and arranger born in 1952. He is known for his film composition, including for the films Beverly Hills Cop, Fletch, and Top Gun.
Faltermeyer began his career as a keyboardist and arranger for music producer Giorgio Moroder. He later worked as a producer and composer for various artists, such as Donna Summer, Blondie, Berlin, and Billy Idol.
He has composed music for several films, including Beverly Hills Cop, Fletch, Top Gun, Running Man, and Beverly Hills Cop III. He also created the music for the television series Miami Vice.
Faltermeyer has been nominated for two Grammy Awards, in 1985 for the song "Axel F" from the film Beverly Hills Cop and in 1986 for the Top Gun soundtrack.
