The Rita Mitsouko is a French rock and new wave duo, composed of Fred Chichin and Catherine Ringer. Their first album, "Rita Mitsouko", was released in 1984. The second album, "The No Comprendo", was released in 1986 and contains their first single, "C'est comme ça". The third album, "Marc et Robert", was released in 1988 and contains their second single, "Les histoires d'A". The fourth album, "Système D", was released in 1991 and contains their third single, "Y'a d'la haine". In 1992, they collaborated with Youssou N'Dour on the single "7 Seconds". The fifth album, "Acoustiques", was released in 1994 and contains their fourth single, "Je te mange". In 1995, they collaborated with Beck on the single "Les amis n'ont pas le même goût". The sixth album, "Variéty", was released in 1996 and contains their fifth single, "C'est comme ça (que je t'aime)". In 1999, they collaborated with Jarvis Cocker on the single "C'est mieux comme ça". The seventh album, "The Best of Les Rita Mitsouko", was released in 2001.
