"Martika is a musical artist from California, born into a family passionate about music. She begins to sing and play an instrument at a young age. After starting out in clubs and bars, she signs with a record label and releases her self-titled debut album in 1988. This album, which includes the singles 'More Than You Know' and 'Toy Soldiers', reaches 2nd place on the Billboard 200 and is certified gold in the US. In 1991, she releases 'Martika's Kitchen', her second album, less popular than the first but containing singles such as 'Love... Thy Will Be Done', which reaches 1st place on the Billboard Hot 100. Her third and final album, 'It's the Time', is released in 1995 and includes singles like 'Let Me Be Your Valentine' and 'Water from the Moon'. Although it did not have the same commercial success as the previous ones, it remains noteworthy in her discography.
