Paco de Lucía was a Spanish flamenco guitarist, composer, and producer. He was one of the most influential and innovative guitarists of his generation, and is considered one of the greatest flamenco guitarists of all time. Paco de Lucía's guitar style was characterized by his technical mastery, complex compositions, and the use of modern jazz harmonies. He was a leading figure in the development of nuevo flamenco, a style of flamenco that incorporated elements of jazz, rock, and classical music. Paco de Lucía's recordings include some of the most acclaimed flamenco albums of all time, such as Almoraima (1976), Fuente y caudal (1981), and Cositas buenas (1984). He also collaborated with several well-known musicians, including Miles Davis, John McLaughlin, and Chick Corea. Paco de Lucía passed away in 2014 at the age of 66.
