Philippe Russo is a French guitarist born in 1966. After learning classical guitar, he turned to rock music and played in several bands before founding his own trio in 1996. The Philippe Russo Trio released their first album in 1998, followed by the second in 2000. In 2002, Russo released his first solo album, "Guitar Stories", followed by "Guitar Dreams" in 2004. In 2006, he released "Guitar Odyssey", a live album. In 2007, Russo recorded "Guitar Groove" with bassist Richard Bona.
