RFM is a French radio station founded on October 4, 1981, in Paris. It is owned by the Lagardère Active group and currently has over 3 million daily listeners. Created by Jean-Luc Azoulay and Claude Grudet, RFM quickly distinguished itself by broadcasting a mix of pop, rock, and disco music, as well as radio-crochet shows that helped promote many artists.
