Stephan Eicher is a Swiss artist. He began his career as the singer and guitarist of the underground rock group Noise Boys, before becoming a prominent figure of the Swiss new wave and post-punk scene in the 1980s. As a solo artist, he found commercial success with albums such as Noise Boys (1983), Spacer Woman (1984) and No Way Out (1986). He has also collaborated with numerous artists, including Yello, Jean-Michel Jarre, Manu Chao and Blumfeld. In 2016, he was named a knight of the French National Order of Merit.
