Technotronic is a Belgian-American electronic music group, active between 1988 and 1999. They are primarily known for their single "Pump Up the Jam", released in 1989, which was an international success. The group was made up of producer Jo Bogaert, also known as Thomas De Quincey, and singer Ya Kid K (Manuela Kamosi). Bogaert was the only permanent member of the group, while Ya Kid K and other singers and musicians were invited to participate in various recordings and concerts.
