The Commodores are an American music group formed in 1968 in Tuskegee, Alabama. The group is composed of Lionel Richie, Thomas McClary, Milan Williams, Walter Orange, and William King. They experienced significant commercial success with songs such as "Easy," "Brick House," and "Three Times a Lady."
The group disbanded in 1987 but resumed their career in 1993. In 2007, the group was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. In 2016, the group was inducted into the Musical Hall of Fame.
