The Rolling Stones are a British rock band from London, England. Founded in 1962 by guitarist and leader Mick Jagger and guitarist Keith Richards, the band originally included pianist Ian Stewart, bassist Bill Wyman, and drummer Charlie Watts as founding members. Guitarist and saxophonist Brian Jones joined the band in 1963. The Rolling Stones achieved worldwide success in the 1960s and 1970s and are considered one of the greatest and most influential rock bands of all time.
