BIOGRAPHY
Thierry Mutin is a French musical artist born in 1966. He began his career playing jazz in Paris clubs in the 1980s. In 1990, he founded the electronic rock group Les Négresses Vertes, with whom he recorded five albums before leaving the group in 1996. He then pursued a solo career and released his first album in 1998. Mutin has also worked as a producer and remixer for many artists, and has released two albums of electronic music under the pseudonym of "The Mutin Project".
In 1998, Thierry Mutin released his first solo album entitled "Thierry Mutin", which was well received by critics. He has since released three other albums, "Nouvelle Vague" (2000), "Mutin 3.0" (2003), and "4" (2006) which was hailed as his best to date. Mutin has continued to release albums and remixes over the years, with critical successes such as "5" (2009), "6" (2011), "7" (2013), "8" (2015), "9" (2017) and "10" (2019).
As a producer and remixer, Thierry Mutin has worked with various French artists such as Les Wampas, Les Innocents, Alizée, Mylène Farmer and Lorie. His work has been praised by critics and he has continued to release albums and remixes throughout his career.
