"3LAU is a progressive and electro house DJ and producer. He is best known for his remixes of songs by Zedd, Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, and The Chainsmokers. Justin David Blau (born January 18, 1991), known professionally as 3LAU (/ˈɛlɔː/ EL-aw), is an American DJ and electronic music producer. Blau was born in New York and grew up in Greenwich, Connecticut. He studied at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he earned degrees in business economics and psychology. Blau began his DJ career in 2009 and began producing original music in 2010. His 2013 single "Dance Floor Filth" was a hit in the top 10 of the Beatport charts. In 2014, he released his first album, Us Against the World. In 2016, Blau collaborated with American singer-songwriter Emma Hewitt on the single "Back Again", which was a success on the Beatport charts. Blau has performed at music festivals such as Tomorrowland, Ultra Music Festival, and Coachella. 3LAU is managed by Steve Gordon of SG Music Group."
