BIOGRAPHY
ADBB is a French musical artist whose music is influenced by hip-hop, R&B, and soul. He began his career in 2016 with the release of his first album "At the Dawn of French Rap". Since then, he has released two other albums: "We are all French" and "The Heart in Exile".
Born in France in 1988, ADBB grew up in the suburbs of Paris and began writing songs at the age of 16. In 2006, he participated in a rap competition organized by XXL magazine. Following this, he signed a contract with the independent French label Jarring Effects. His first album, "At the Dawn of French Rap", was released in 2016 and was well received by critics, even being nominated for the Prix Constantin.
In 2018, ADBB released his second album, "We are all French", which was even more well received than the first and was nominated for the Mercury Prize. He also released an EP in 2019 titled "The Heart in Exile", which was well received by critics and nominated for the Victoires de la Musique Award.
Considered one of the best French rap artists of his generation, ADBB addresses social and political issues of contemporary France in his music. He has been compared to artists such as Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole and Chance the Rapper.
