BIOGRAPHY
Granville Sharp (November 10, 1735 - July 6, 1813) was an English abolitionist and a leading activist against slavery and the slave trade. He also advocated for the rights of black people in England and contributed to the founding of the colony of Sierra Leone for freed slaves.
