Kaiserdisco is a German techno music producing duo consisting of Frederic Blasius and Dirk Schumacher. Their music is characterized by a minimalist approach and extensive use of synthesizers. Formed in 2006, Kaiserdisco released their first album, Blacklight, in 2007. Since then, the duo has released several albums and singles, and has collaborated with artists such as Laurent Garnier, Richie Hawtin, Dubfire, and Stephan Bodzin. In 2011, Kaiserdisco was ranked among the top 100 DJs in the world by DJ Mag. In 2012, the duo founded their own label, KD Music. Their music is described as "minimalistic and melodic techno with a touch of humor and cheek."
