BIOGRAPHY
Mark North is a Canadian singer-songwriter and musician. He was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. North began his musical career as a member of the Canadian rock band, The Northern Pikes. The band released their first album, Big Blue Sky, in 1985. They experienced commercial success with their second album, Snow in June, which was certified platinum in Canada. The band released a total of six albums before disbanding in 1992. North pursued a solo career following the dissolution of The Northern Pikes. He released his first solo album, North, in 1995. The album was followed by two more solo albums, One Way Track (1997) and The Way I Am (2000). North also released two albums with his band, The Mark North Band. Their first album, This Is Who We Are, was released in 2009. North is currently working on a new solo album, which is set to be released in 2019.
