Norbert De Bot is a Belgian musical artist born on February 28, 1977. He began his career playing the trumpet in his hometown's brass bands, Antwerp. He later studied jazz at the University of Ghent and began performing in various jazz clubs in the city. He has also collaborated with numerous orchestras and jazz ensembles in Belgium and abroad. In 2003, he formed his own trio, the Norbert De Bot Trio, with whom he has released two albums, "First Light" (2006) and "Second Light" (2008). In 2010, he released his first solo album, "The Journey", followed by "The Way Home" in 2012. Since 2013, he has been a member of the Brussels Jazz Orchestra.
