Pierre Decastel is a French electronic music artist. Born in 1977 in Toulouse, France, he grew up in a family of musicians. At the age of seven, he began playing music and studied piano, guitar, and drums. At 16, he turned to electronic music, quickly developing a passion for this genre. In 1996, he co-founded the French group La Fonky Family, which achieved international success with several critically acclaimed albums. In 2006, Pierre Decastel began his solo career with the release of his first album "Electronica". He has since released two other albums, "Le voyage" and "L'esprit de la rue", all of which have been well received by critics. His work is compared to that of some of the greatest electronic music artists such as Daft Punk and Air. Pierre Decastel is now considered one of the best French electronic music artists and continues to produce high-quality music.
