BIOGRAPHY
Sergio Mauri is an Italian singer, songwriter, and producer born in Rome on June 21, 1985. Born into a family of musicians, he began his career as a guitarist and composer for Italian artists such as Eros Ramazzotti, Laura Pausini, and Alessandra Amoroso.
In 2010, he signed with the American major label Universal Music Group and released his first solo album, titled "Sergio Mauri," in 2011. In 2012, he collaborated with American singer Shelly Poole, a member of the pop group Alana Lee, for their single "I Won't Let You Go." This track reached number one in sales in Italy and was certified gold. In 2013, Sergio Mauri released his second album, "Start Again," which climbed to number two in sales in Italy. He also released a duet single with Italian singer Giorgia, titled "Tu mi porti su," which topped the sales charts in Italy.
Subsequent years saw the release of several successful albums by Mauri, all of which reached number one in sales in Italy. His collaborations with renowned Italian artists such as Emma Marrone, Giusy Ferreri, Alessandra Amoroso, Tiziano Ferro, and Stefania have also been very successful.
In 2019, the artist released his eighth album, titled "Sognami," which once again positioned itself at the top of sales in Italy. Sergio Mauri continues to make his mark on the Italian music scene with his talent and fruitful collaborations.
