BIOGRAPHY
The Rubber Boys were a British rock band formed in London at the end of the year 1983. The original line-up of the band consisted of lead singer and guitarist Richard Anderson, bassist Paul Gray, drummer Steve Nicol, and guitarist Mark Knopfler. The band's first single, "I Wanna Be Your Man", was released in 1984 and reached the top 40 of the UK Singles Chart. The band's first album, Rubber Soul, was released in 1985 and peaked at number 33 on the UK Albums Chart. The band's second album, Revolver, was released in 1986 and reached number 12 on the UK Albums Chart. The band's final album, Let It Be, was released in 1987 and peaked at number 45 on the UK Albums Chart. The band disbanded in 1988.
