Timmy P is a French musical artist born on January 1, 1970 in Paris. He began his career playing guitar in jazz clubs in the capital. In 1992, he founded the jazz fusion group "Timmy P's Jazz Quintet" which released two albums, "Jazz à la Mode" (1992) and "Live at the Blue Note" (1993). In 1995, Timmy P released his first solo album, "Timmy P's Jazz Odyssey", which was well received by critics and nominated for the French Jazz Music Prize. He then went on to release a series of successful solo albums: "Timmy P's Jazz Odyssey 2" (1997), "Timmy P's Jazz Odyssey 3" (1999), "Timmy P's Jazz Odyssey 4" (2001), "Timmy P's Jazz Odyssey 5" (2003), "Timmy P's Jazz Odyssey 6" (2005), "Timmy P's Jazz Odyssey 7" (2007), "Timmy P's Jazz Odyssey 8" (2009) and "Timmy P's Jazz Odyssey 9" (2011), all of which were nominated for the French Jazz Music Prize.
