BIOGRAPHY
Van Pain is a French-Canadian singer and songwriter. He was born in Montreal, Quebec, and grew up in a small town in the Laurentians. His father was a musician and his mother was a teacher. Van Pain began playing guitar and writing songs at a young age. He released his first album, "Chansons du Nord," in 2006. The album was nominated for a Juno Award and won the Félix for Best Francophone Album. Van Pain has released two other albums, "Le Grand Nord" (2008) and "Les Étoiles du Nord" (2011). He has toured extensively in Canada, Europe, and the United States.
