Carolina Marquez is a Colombian singer born on March 16, 1982, in Barranquilla. She began her career in 2001 as a singer in the Latin music group Wawa. In 2004, she released her first solo single, "El Ritmo No Perdona (Prende la Vela)," which became a hit in Latin America. In 2006, she released her first solo album, "Carolina Marquez," which was successful in Colombia and Spain. In 2007, she participated in the popular Colombian reality show "Yo soy la reina del flow."
