Ayu is a Japanese singer-songwriter and model. Born in Fukuoka, she launched her career in 1998 with the release of her first single, "Poker Face." Since then, she has released 22 studio albums, 5 compilation albums, and 80 singles. Her albums have sold over 50 million copies worldwide, and she is commonly referred to as the "Queen of J-Pop." Ayu has also ventured into modeling, acting, and fashion design. In addition to her musical career, she is involved in humanitarian work and has participated in several charitable organizations.
