Taucher Battles Talla 2XLC is a German duo of producers and DJs, consisting of Michael von der Heide and Thomas Schumacher. Their music is mainly influenced by 1990s techno and trance.

Taucher was formed in 1992 by Michael von der Heide and Thomas Schumacher. The duo released several singles and albums throughout their career, including the single "Dive Into The Sun" in 1994, which was a hit in Germany. In 1996, they released their first album, Destination, which was a hit in Germany and Switzerland.

In 1998, Taucher took a break and Michael von der Heide pursued a solo career. Thomas Schumacher, meanwhile, founded the German techno label, Superstition.

In 2006, Taucher returned with a new album, Reunion. The album was well-received by critics and reached the number two spot on the German dance album chart.

In 2008, Taucher released a new single, "Dive Into The Night", which was a hit in Germany. The single was followed by the album Revelation, which was a hit in Germany and Switzerland.

Taucher is considered one of the pioneers of German techno and trance. The duo was influenced by many artists, including Kraftwerk, Front 242, and New Order. Their music has been described as "melodic, energetic, and powerful".

Taucher has had a significant impact on German dance music and has been cited as an influence by many artists, including Paul van Dyk, Tiësto, and ATB.
