Shalamar è un gruppo musicale disco e soul statunitense, originario di Los Angeles, California. Il gruppo è stato formato nel 1977 dal cantante e ballerino Jeffrey Daniel, dal cantante Howard Hewett e dalla bassista Carolyn Griffey. Shalamar ha ottenuto un successo internazionale negli anni '80 con singoli di successo come "I Can Make You Feel Good", "A Night to Remember" e "Dancing in the Sheets". Il gruppo è anche apparso nel film del 1984 "Footloose". Shalamar si è separato nel 1988, ma Daniel e Hewett hanno riformato il gruppo nel 2003.
