"Lipps Inc. ist eine US-amerikanische Disco-Musikgruppe, die 1977 vom Produzenten und Sänger Steven Greenberg gegründet wurde. Die Gruppe ist weltweit bekannt für ihren Hit "Funkytown", der in mehreren Ländern im Jahr 1980 Platz 1 erreichte. Greenberg hat auch Hits für andere Künstler produziert, wie zum Beispiel "Super Freak" von Rick James und "Funkytown" von Pseudo Echo."
