BIOGRAPHY
Duderstadt is a German town located in the federal state of Lower Saxony. It is the capital of the Göttingen district. The town has approximately 32,000 inhabitants. Duderstadt is situated in the southern part of the federal state, approximately 30 kilometers from the city of Göttingen. The town is located in a valley between the Harz mountains and the Weserbergland. The town is home to several universities, including the University of Göttingen, which is one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in Germany. Duderstadt also houses several research institutes, including the Max Planck Institute for Solar System Research.
