Safri Duo is a Danish musician duo composed of Uffe Savery and Morten Friis. Both started their musical career as classical percussionists but in 1996, they formed Safri Duo with a style that gradually evolved towards electronic and dance music. The duo gained international fame in 2000 with their successful single, "Played-A-Live (The Bongo Song)", which became a huge hit in many countries. Since then, Safri Duo has continued to experiment with different musical styles, merging classical percussions with electronic music. They are recognized for their energetic and visually impressive live performances.
