BIOGRAPHY
Aztec Camera is a Scottish rock band formed in Glasgow in 1981, by Roddy Frame. Although their commercial success was limited to the United Kingdom and Europe, they greatly influenced a generation of British artists. Their music, a mix of pop, rock, folk, and new wave, was characterized by emotions and a certain melancholy.
Their first album, "High Land, Hard Rain", was critically acclaimed and reached the Top 10 of the UK charts. Their second album, "Knife", was even more successful, reaching the top spot of the UK charts. Their third album, "Love", received less critical acclaim but still reached the Top 10 of the charts. Their fourth album, "Dreamland", was both a commercial and critical success, and was the band's last album before their dissolution in 1995.
