BIOGRAPHY
B. Movie is a British new wave music group originating from Leicester. Formed in 1979 by guitarist and singer Graham Boffey, bassist John Waddington, and drummer Steve Hovington. B. Movie signed with independent label Statik Records in 1980 and released their first single, "Remembrance Day", in 1981. The single reached number 47 on the UK charts. The band's first album, Forever Running, was released in 1982 and was well received by critics, reaching number 42 on the UK charts. The single "Nowhere Girl", taken from the album, reached number 8 on the UK charts. The group released their second album, The Age of Illusion, in 1983, which received less positive reviews and was not as commercially successful. The group disbanded in 1985.
