BIOGRAPHY
The Blues Brothers are an American music group consisting of John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd. The group was formed in 1978 for the film The Blues Brothers, in which they played the roles of Jake and Elwood Blues. The group subsequently released two studio albums, "Briefcase Full of Blues" (1978) and "Made in America" (1980), and undertook numerous tours. The group was known for its blues music and on-stage humor. The group disbanded following Belushi's death in 1982, but Aykroyd and the group's lead singer, James Brown, continued to make occasional appearances as The Blues Brothers.
