BIOGRAPHY
Bronski Beat is a British synth-pop music group formed in 1983, composed of Jimmy Somerville, Larry Steinbachek, and Steve Bronski. Their first single, "Smalltown Boy," reached the number one spot on the UK singles chart in 1984. Their second single, "Why?" also reached the number one spot on the UK singles chart in 1985. Their first album, The Age of Consent, was certified gold in the UK in 1985.
