BIOGRAPHY
Eric Carmen is an American singer, songwriter, and music producer born on August 11, 1949, in Cleveland, Ohio. He began his musical career in the 1960s as a member of the rock band The Raspberries, which gained popularity with songs like "Go All the Way" and "I Wanna Be with You." Carmen left the group in 1972 to pursue a solo career. His debut solo album, titled "Eric Carmen," was released in 1975 and became a commercial success due to the hit "All by Myself." Although he did not achieve the same level of success throughout the 1980s and 1990s, Carmen continued to write and produce music for other artists. Today, he is recognized as one of the most talented composers of his generation.
