Gerrard Blanc is a French electronic music artist, born in 1981 in Lyon. He started his musical career in 2000, playing piano in a jazz club in Lyon. In 2003, he joined the French electronic music group Daft Punk as a keyboardist and pianist, a position he held for five years, performing in numerous concerts and festivals around the world. In 2008, Gerrard Blanc decided to focus on his solo career and released his self-titled debut album in 2009. He is considered one of the best French electronic music artists, with songs influenced by house, techno, and disco. His musical talents are undeniable and his songs are very popular in France.
