Karel Fialka is a Czech musician, singer, and composer born on March 9, 1952, in Prague. He began his musical career in the mid-1970s by playing guitar in a Czech progressive rock band called Matadors. After leaving the group, he pursued a solo career and released his first album in 1981. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with numerous artists, including Brian Eno, David Bowie, and Peter Gabriel. Fialka is also known for his message-oriented songs, such as "Hey Matthew" and "The Eyes of Josef Mengele."
